THE BRIEF

Originally named Uckfield FM, a local radio station entrusted Boombox to lead their re-brand to Ashdown Radio. Their goal was to grow from a local radio station to a national one, and they wanted their new brand to help achieve this. To stand out from the tired local radio station branding, we collectively wanted to create something powerful that would draw attention and not only connect with existing listeners but attract new ones too.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

Boombox held a series of workshops with the team at Ashdown Radio to carve out a brand strategy that would bring their vision to life. We developed a comprehensive suite of branding assets including a refreshed identity, brand guidelines, website design, a cohesive social suite, paid ads, vehicle signage, apparel design, merch, OOH advertising and a dynamic launch campaign. The brand launch was a huge success and Ashdown Radio’s listeners have since doubled in number.
